Kipling brings over two decades of leadership experience across market research, strategy, marketing and sustainability. Before joining the Social Research Centre he was CEO of DBM Consultants, a leading Australian market research agency. During his time at DBM he helped some of Australia’s largest organisations better understand the needs of their customers, and improve customer experience. He also oversaw the diversification and growth of the DBM business.
Prior to DBM, Kipling held various senior roles at NAB, in particular leading its Business Bank Customer Strategy and Marketing functions. He began his career as a strategy consultant, advising organisations globally on topics such as customer insights, customer segmentation and value proposition development. He also worked at Swinburne’s National Centre for Sustainability, advising both internal and external clients.
Kipling holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Environmental Science from Monash University, and a Graduate Certificate of Science (Strategic Foresight) from Swinburne University of Technology.
