This research is being conducted for the Department of Education (ACT) by the Social Research Centre.

Aims + Outcomes

The ACT School Leavers Survey is tailored to gather feedback from students who have recently completed their schooling, including those in Year 12 and below, in the Australian Capital Territory. This survey is designed to understand the satisfaction levels and outcomes of school leavers who have participated in government-subsidised training.

The survey is conducted to find out what young people who left school in recent years are doing now. This will provide important information to help the ACT Government and schools plan future programs and provide better services for young people in the ACT. The survey includes questions about satisfaction with school, current study and employment.

Methods

The research methodology will be an online, quantitative survey, with the option to complete with Telephone Assisted Interviewing (CATI)
