Method of entry
Entry is open to Early Childhood Education and Care services that complete the 2024 National Workforce Census for their service. To enter, services invited to complete the 2024 National Workforce Census must complete the National Workforce Census by 11.59PM AEST 14 July 2024.
Duration of entry period
The entry period for inclusion in the prize draw differs by service type, due to differences in dates these services are operational.
Entry periods for the prize draw by service type are as below:

Details of prizes and prize values
There will be one prize draw per state and territory, with two prize winners in each prize draw. In each prize draw, the first two entries drawn for each state and territory will receive $1,000 towards educational materials or equipment for the benefit of the winning service. To receive the prize, services will be required to provide a written plan detailing how the service intends to spend the prize to improve the service. The Australian Department of Education will need to approve the written plan before the prize is awarded. The prize will be awarded in the form of a prepaid Visa gift card. In total, 16 x $1,000 vouchers (or equivalent) will be drawn. The total value of prizes to be awarded in each state and territory is $2,000. The total national prize pool is valued at $16,000.
Date, time and place of draw
The Prize Draw will be conducted at 2:00 pm AEST on 14 August 2024. All draws will be conducted at Level 5, 350 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. Winners will be identified through a random computer-generated draw.
Publication of winner names
Winners will be notified by telephone, email or in writing. The names and State or Territory of the physical location of all winning services will be published on this website by 21 August 2024: https://www.srcentre.com.au/project/national-workforce-census

Unclaimed prize draw
If any prizes are unclaimed by 5:00 pm AEST on 10 January 2025, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 2:00 pm AEST on 13 January 2025 at the above address. The winners will be notified by telephone, email or in writing.

Dispute resolution
Any disputes received regarding a prize draw will be forwarded to the Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary for review and resolution.
Cancellation clause
If, for any reason, any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
Privacy
Contact details will only be collected and retained by “the Trader” for the purposes of the prize draw only and will not be released or used for any other purpose. Except for the announcement of the winning entries, all confidentiality will be retained and records in relation to the draw will be destroyed within State and Commonwealth Government requirements.
