With a history spanning 14 years at the Social Research Centre and a leadership journey embedded in the research industry, Paul brings a wealth of experience to the role of CEO.
Paul’s knowledge of the business is a cornerstone of the ongoing growth and transformation that has characterised the Social Research Centre over the last several years. Transitioning from leading the quantitative research team, Paul is well-poised to carry forward the momentum and ensuring the Social Research Centre continues to thrive.

Recognised for his skills in the design, implementation, and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative research, Paul has been shaping programs, communications, policy, and practice. His expertise covers a spectrum of social policy areas, including health behaviours, educational outcomes, image-based abuse, social marketing, service utilisation and unmet needs, social ex/inclusion, and gambling behaviour.

Paul’s commitment to inclusivity is evident in his experience conducting research with ‘hard-to-reach’ audiences, particularly focusing on young people and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Paul holds a PhD in Public Health (The University Melbourne) and is a Centre Visitor at POLIS: the Centre for Social Policy, ANU.
