The National Community Attitudes towards Violence against Women Survey (NCAS) aims to explore people’s understanding and attitudes regarding violence against women and gender inequality and how these change over time in Australia. It is the longest running survey of its kind in the world and has taken place in 1995, 2009, 2013, 2017 and 2021.

有什么好处?

它是如何工作的?

The survey includes questions about opinions and understanding about gender inequality, violence against women and intention to intervene if you witness violence or abuse. It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.

The survey is on the topic of violence against women and gender inequality. Questions ask about understanding and attitudes, they do not ask about personal experiences of violence.
