Kinship Carer Survey

Client: The Department of Health and Human Services

The Department of Health and Human Services have asked the Social Research Centre to conduct a survey of kinship carers on their behalf.

The survey is being undertaken to better understand carers’ experiences and needs. Your participation is very important in helping improve support for children and young people in kinship care and the carers who look after them.

The survey can be conducted online or by contacting the Department to provide your details to be called by an interviewer at the Social Research Centre.

Other services (government or non-government organisations) will NOT know if you have taken part. Any payments or assistance you are receiving will NOT be affected by taking part in this survey.

The survey will only be open for a few weeks from the 1st October 2018 and has been granted ethics approval by ANU Ethics Committee (Protocol 2018/016).
