Prize draw terms and conditions of entry

February ’25 collection period

Entry is open to respondents of the 2025 Graduate Outcomes Survey – Longitudinal collection period. To be included in the rolling prize draw those invited to complete the Graduate Outcomes Survey – Longitudinal must complete the survey online at https://www.qilt.edu.au/surveys/graduate-outcomes-survey—longitudinal.

 

Employees of the Social Research Centre are ineligible to enter this trade promotion lottery.

Duration of entry period

The total entry period for inclusion in the competition is from survey launch on 18 February 2025 to 24 March 2025 at 11.59pm AEDT. Five prize draws will occur during this period, with the following schedule:

 

  • Respondents who complete their survey before 11.59pm AEDT 24 February will be entered into prize draws #1 – #5 and will be eligible to win a prize in each draw.

  • Respondents who complete their survey before 11.59pm AEDT 03 March will be entered into four prize draws and will be eligible to win a prize in Prize Draws #2, #3, #4 and #5.

  • Respondents who complete their survey before 11.59pm AEDT 10 March will be entered into three prize draws and will be eligible to win a prize in Prize Draws #3, #4 and #5.

  • Respondents who complete their survey before 11.59pm AEDT 17 March will be entered into two prize draws and will be eligible to win a prize in Prize Draws #4 and #5.

  • Respondents who complete their survey before 11.59pm AEDT 24 March will be entered into the last prize draw – Prize Draw #5.

1 x $1,000 prepaid e-gift card from the national prize pool

4 x $250 prepaid e-gift cards drawn as follows:

1 x $250 prepaid e-gift card drawn for NSW

1 x $250 prepaid e-gift card drawn for QLD

1 x $250 prepaid e-gift card drawn for VIC

1 x $250 prepaid e-gift card drawn for ACT, TAS, NT, SA & WA

The total national prize pool is valued at $12,500. In total, five (5) x $1,000, five (5) $500 and twenty (20) $250 prepaid e-gift cards will be drawn. All eligible entrants will go into the draw to win one of the five (5) $1,000 and five (5) $500 prepaid e-gift cards. The twenty (20) $250 prizes will be allocated by state of residence as follows:

 

  • NSW: five (5) x $250

  • QLD: five (5) x $250

  • VIC: five (5) x $250

  • ACT, TAS, NT, SA & WA: five (5) x $250

 

The prepaid e-gift cards can be used for a selection of Australian retailers.

Date, time and place of draw

The prize draws will be conducted with the following schedule:

 

  • Prize Draw #1: 11:00 am AEDT 26 February 2025

  • Prize Draw #2: 11:00 am AEDT 05 March 2025

  • Prize Draw #3: 11:00 am AEDT 12 March 2025

  • Prize Draw #4: 11:00 am AEDT 19 March 2025

  • Prize Draw #5: 11:00 am AEDT 26 March 2025

 

All draws from 26 February to 26 March 2025 will be conducted at Level 5, 350 Queen St, Melbourne, Victoria 3000. Winners will be identified through a random computer-generated draw.

Publication of winner names

Winners will be notified in writing via email within seven business days of the relevant draw date. The first name initials and last name, postcode, and the higher education institution of winners will be published online at https://www.facebook.com/QILT1/ with the following schedule:
 
  • Prize Draw #1: 28 February 2025
  • Prize Draw #2: 06 March 2025
  • Prize Draw #3: 13 March 2025
  • Prize Draw #4: 20 March 2025
  • Prize Draw #5: 27 March 2025

Unclaimed prize draw

If any prizes are unclaimed by 30 June 2025, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 11:00 am AEDT on 02 July 2025 at Level 5, 350 Queen St, Victoria, Melbourne 3000. The winners will be notified by telephone and in writing via email within seven days of the draw. The first name initials and last name, postcode, and the higher education institution of winners will be published online at https://www.facebook.com/QILT1/ on 02 July 2025.

Cancellation clause

If, for any reason, any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
