The Social Research Centre is conducting research for the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) to obtain more accurate and complete information on the geographic coverage of professional news outlets in Australia.
This research will contribute to the ACMA’s future reporting against the Media Diversity Measurement Framework. The Framework is part of the government’s News Media Assistance Program, which sets out a policy framework and measures to support public interest journalism and media diversity in Australia.
